Crofties ran out winners 27-5 without reliable five-eighth Ben Gordon and in miserable conditions.
Beecroft scored first through try machine Mark Gillespie whose individual brilliance and sheer pace saw him score within the first few minutes of the match……

STRONG wind, heavy rain and sloppy underfoot conditions dictated Beecroft Rugby Club’s game plan play tight and use the wind.
It worked well enough for the Crofties First Grade to demolish Woollahra Colleagues 27-5 on Saturday, racking up their sixth win in seven matches and maintaining dominance of the Suburban Rugby First Division.
The win also gave Crofties another bonus point.
With a reshuffled backline due to five-eight Ben Gordon’s absence threough injury, top try scorer Mark Gillespie opened the Crofties’ account in the opening minutes…

After a hiccup in the last round Beecroft Rugby Club are back in the winners circle downing Forest 38-5.
Crofties scored six tries in their most convincing win of the season so far.
Solid defence and smart options in attack resulted in first half tries to five-eighth Ben Gordon, half back Ben Robinson and Number 8 Simon Guest – with a barnstorming bust up the side line.
